Thousands of people fill downtown for the 40th annual Pride Houston festival and parade Saturday, June 23, 2018.

Pride in Houston is in full efffect.

Pride is finally back in full force. So bring on the drag queens and the dance parties.

You're likely to find something LGBTQ+-related to do every day in June. The bars are fuller. The brunches are boozier. The rainbow is brighter.

Several "RuPaul's Drag Race" stars will make appearances. Pride Houston has an array of official events. And most importantly, local bars will continue serving their communities this and every month.

Here's a look at the highlights. This list will be continually updated. Happy Pride, y'all!

The long-running Ripcord has three days of events featuring drag performers Adriana LaRue, Blackberri and Reign LaRue; performers Nate Drop and Uncle Tino; and those infamous Jell-O shots. 8 p.m. June 24-26 at The Ripcord, 715 Fairview; free.

Eagle Pride Festival and Block Party

The popular gay bar (and one of the most fun) hosts three days of events. DJs Joe Ross and Jimmy Skinner, June 24; DJs Zema, CJ and Jimmy Skinner, June 25 and 26. With nightly drag shows hosted by Alexyeus Paris. 611 Hyde Park; free, $40 VIP

The Pride Run happens before the parade and festival.

The nation’s first intentionally LGBTQIA inclusive synchronized 5k/10k walk and run "dedicated to bringing everyone in the community together to have fun, be active and support a wonderful and diverse community." The Pride Run and Walk is for everyone of every ability. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. June 25 at Hennessy Park, 1900 Lyons; $30 advance registration.

Drag diva Reign Larue twirls at this barbecue joint that is along the parade route. 2-8 p.m. June 25 at Citadel BBQ, 805 Dallas; free. 

The 44th annual festival will feature rapper Coi Leray and "Finally" singer CeCe Peniston. The parade will follow through downtown Houston. Gates open at noon June 25, festival runs to 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 901 Bagby. The parade follows from 7-9:30 p.m. Ticket runs from $5-$250.

Fetish, cosplay, masks -- anything goes at this Pride-themed affair. Performers include Asia Q, Jessica Bunny and Astro Clyde. 7 p.m. June 25 at Numbers, 300 Westheimer; $30 and up.

Rich's at Rise: The Official Houston Pride Afterparty

DJs Roland Belmares and Joe Ross are behind the decks for a night meant to evoke shuttered Houston nightclub Rich's. 9 p.m. June 25 at Rise Rooftop, 2600 Travis; $20-$35.

Slay All Day Drag Show

Social Beer Garden's drag show runs weekly.

A rotating cast of queens perform while you sip mimosas. There's drunken spelling bees and bingo, too. 2:30 p.m. Saturdays at Social Beer Garden, 3101 San Jacinto; free.

4th Annual Pride "Recovery" Brunch

This event "celebrates those who paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today." 11 a.m.-4 p.m. June 26 at La Grange, 2517 Ralph; $45.

'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 14 crowned Willow Pill as the winner.

The "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 14 winner helps kick off the month with what should be an unforgettable show. 11 p.m. at Rebar, 202 Tuam; $20 at the door.

Mr. and Miss Gay Pride Houston 2022

The local pageant prepares to crown a new king and queen. Featuring 2021 winners Seany Smiles and Kofi. 5 p.m. June 4 at JR's, 808 Pacific; free.

Official Pride Market x Karbach Brewing

Love is love at Karbach Brewing Co.

Market and more, featuring DJs, drag queens, food trucks, performances, games and more. 11 a.m. June 5 at Karbach Brewing Co., 2032 Karbach; free.

Rock the Cognac featuring NYAK

Cognac cocktails are on the menu.

Day party featuring cognac mimosas and speciality drinks. Noon June 11 at Belle Station, 207 Gray; free.

Montrose Makers Pride Art Market

Crystal Murley Art is the owner, manager and curator of the Montrose Makers.

Featuring "local artists, vendors, makers and unicorns." All proceeds from Montrose Makers koozie and T-shirt sales will be donated to Friends For Life Animal Shelter. 1:30-6:30 p.m. June 11 at South Beach parking lot, 810 Pacific; free entry.

Queen Persephone hosts, featuring performances by Sasha Frost and Reign Larue. 2-5 p.m. June 12 at Idle Hands, 901 Weshtheimer;

Pride Night with the Houston Dash

The Houston Dash takes on the Portland Thorns during a designated Pride Night. Speakers, performances and more. 3:30 p.m. June 12 at PNC Stadium, 2200 Texas; $33 and up.
